The main character of the novel is a clairvoyant Michael. The readers might already known him from the other Balco’s short stories. Michael occurs in a novel and a so far unfamiliar situation. He falls in love with a woman endowed with an extraordinary beauty and surrounded by a mysterious story. It is Adela’s past and the potentially shared future which remains a mystery for Michael.
